In our observation, the seller’s market for insurance agencies continues and is expected to be part of our lives for some time. Asking multiples in the last 12 months have been trending higher, as well.
In our view and experience, the most effective tactics in deal origination continues to be a multi-level and joint endeavor, using the national approach that STG provides in concert with the “boots on the ground” local market intelligence that only the client has access to. SHOP F: New Jersey – An 18-year-old insurance agency is for sale. This company is focused on commercial lines and has two locations. One location is based in New Jersey and one in Las Vegas, NV. Carriers include Travelers and Hanover. Asking Price $750K / Reported Revenue $325K.
